Edit: to my f-listers that support Chelsea - congrats on a great match - well, except for the "Diving" Drogba...it was a fair match - the blind spineless  ref - ignored calls on both side but, I'm not bitter or angry .... :) 

Ok, we lost (insert expletive) - disappointing that we didn't play better in the first half but, it's just one match in the group stages and besides no "English team" has ever beat Fiorentina at home! (dusts off other cliches as needed) .

On a more positive note - Daniel Agger had his 65 minute + run out with the reserves against Man City tonight - by all accounts he "did well"....

OK, now the real reason I posted ..... I saw and interview with said "Dane" .....OMG..... his voice is just .... wow.... that smile , that stupid "mohawk haircut" ..... I can't stop smiling :)

I'm not complaining but, I just don't understand how - a board that says "4 MINUTES'" becomes 6 !!!!!!!!

I'll honestly tell you .....I never , not for one moment did I believe this day would happen.....but, given the events in my life lately, I should  have expected the unexpected by now......

Football like life is full of wonderful, marvelous and gut wrenching , horrible things....Liverpool has given me buoyancy during the 'dark times' in my life and caused some as well....it has also brought me - such joy ...I can't possibly express it .....and the true test of ones character is how you handle these situations .....how you "pick yourself up" and start again!

I'm gutted, numb, depressed those are the words I've used today ..... and surprised , that I hurt so (I mean , I love Fernando! )  but, I also love this team , this club and ....it hurts, this hurts .... I hurt ..... ...

To my f-listers ..... my warmest thoughts and support to those of y'all feeling the "pain and loss" of the "pass masters' departure" .....
